San Francisco Marathon Ambassadorship & The Ho-Ho-Holidays

To some people, it may be the first snowfall, to others, it’s when the radio flips the switch to the non-stop holiday music station. But to me, the holiday season is here when the red Starbucks cups arrive! Yes, I’m totally a sucker for their fabulous marketing, but something about those red cups always makes me smile. And what better way to start of the day than with my favorite drink and the December issues:

Not pictured here: the mini vanilla scone I gobbled down in the car.

Now that the holidays are here (don’t argue with me on this one), what better time to start thinking about next summer’s races? Ha! But in all seriousness, I am so very excited to announce that along with nine other fantastic athletes, I was chosen to be a San Francisco Marathon ambassador!

So what does this mean? Simply that I am going to help spread the word about the amazingness that is the San Francisco Marathon. I have nothing but great memories about the SF marathon, including my half marathon PR and great times with running friends! As we get closer to the actual event, I’ll be sharing all of the fun deets about the race. I’m also going to be planning a little pre-race gathering and I want to see all of your smiling faces there! Registration opens December 1st,  so mark your calendars; can’t wait to see you there!

Who else is planning on running the SF Marathon or Half? Holla!

Happy running!
