April is sure to be a month for the record books, so I’m doing my best to continue celebrating the entire way, even despite the severe sore throat I woke up with and horrible run (three miles that felt like 20. I was done). I am so, so honored to be part of the Nike Make Yourself Movement. Their new blog just went live and you can see me there as I am now one of their reporters! You can also see all three of my Nike blog post below:

3 Tips to Stay Healthy in the New Year
Potential
Whenever I tell people I’m from Reno, NV, they always say, “Oh, that’s nice.” I try to explain to them that it really is beautiful and an outdoor paradise and they usually just nod and smile. This photo is practically from my parent’s backyard and I think it speaks for itself.
Last week we had torrential downpours, this week it’s sunny and 85 degrees! Despite my awful looking feet, I’m doing my best at being a girl with wedge sandals and a flowy skirt. Welcome, spring!
This is our ceremony location! Last weekend Chicken Face and I went back home for wedding planning duties and to scope out the spot. Unfortunately, it was still snowed in and we couldn’t do much…other than take these photos.
With only a short time to go, I am DETERMINED to beat this cold. I feel awful as my training has lacked and those three miles from this morning were not a strong indicator of my weekend running. Let’s up the vitamin C intake, put Purel back in business and kick this thing asap.
Have a great weekend and happy running!
Its good that you caught this cold 3 weeks out! I am afraid I am going to get one the week before…
So cool about Nike!
Congrats on the new assignment, I’ll check it out!
get better super soon!!! we have a BIG RACE in 17 days!
That view is amazing!
Hope you feel better soon. PS Theraflu is amazing.
Congrats on being featured on the Nike blog! How cool! Despite all the snow, your wedding location looks gorgeous!!
My feet look so terrible from running that I won’t even get the pedicure my fiance got me months ago!
Keep chugging the vitamin C and feel better fast! 🙂
thinking very non-cold thoughts for you!!!
Congrats on being a Nike reporter! That’s awesome!!
As for that sickness- not so awesome. Keep drinking that Vitamin C!

I just looked up your Nike thing!! SO cool!! You’re FAMOUS!! 😀
And Reno looks GORGEOUS!! I’d LOVE to live there!!
Get better soon girl!! Much better now than the week/day before though, right?! 🙂
I used to work in Gardnerville, NV — and I would drive to Reno every weekend just to do stuff like buy books.
Personally, Reno > Vegas, any day of the week.
congrats on being a representative of Nike! That is awesome! I remember that your post on potential was awesome, I am still meaning to do a post similar to that one, haha Hope the cold goes away!
Page, you are freakin stunning. Sorry to be so vain that this is my # 1 takeaway from this post…but I just adore that picture of you. you’re a major babe 😉
Reno looks gorg! Rest up and take care of yourself! <3
I LOVE the location. Beautiful.
CONGRATS of being a Nike reporter and hope you start feeling better!
Did you end up fighting the cold? Were you able to run? I’m in bed and feel awful and couldn’t run this weekend. Ugh, must get better quick!
