I am kind of in love with the royal wedding; I woke Chicken Face up at 3 a.m. so we could watch. How gorgeous is she?! It’s totally making me re-think my wedding dress. I know that the media is going crazy with it and there are more important issues to talk about, but to all of the naysayers in the world, give it a rest. This wedding is so magical because for once, the world come come together a be mindlessly happy…even if it’s just for a moment.
Speaking of weddings, Chicken Face and I started out wedding registries last weekend. Who thought pretending you were playing laser tag while faking like you want china could be so much fun!
I don’t know what took over me – but I did need a new computer. I’m still blaming the Claritin for the purchase of my new baby.
Road trippin’ hotness. To anywhere who wears actual “outfits” on a road trip – I don’t know if we can be friends.
I’m running my sixth marathon on Sunday with my buddy Aron and a bunch of other fabulous ladies! I’ve actually become quite nervous about Sunday’s race as what I thought was allergies turned out to be yet another bad cold and I ended up working from home a majority of this week. My energy is minimal, my nose is constantly running and I haven’t been able to run for over eight days. I did a 15 minute ab workout and broke out in a horrible rash and over heated. Not good.
I’m hoping that I will have enough in me to run Big Sur on Sunday, but whatever happens, I do know this: this marathon is PURELY for enjoyment. No time goals. No pressure. Probably some walking and a LOT of photos. To be able to do this will actually take a lot for me as I’m so competitive with myself. Thus, I’ll be taking my camera on the course and will be mentally preparing myself that this marathon will probably be my worst marathon time ever, but that’s ok, because I’m running it solely for the fun, the scenery and who are we kidding…the extra bling blang!
Happy Running!

The last time I remember you worrying about feeling sick before a race you pulled out an enormous half marathon PR! You’re going to do great!

I watched the wedding today too. She looked amazing. I got up and told myself I would go to the gym and maybe watch some of it from a treadmill…and then never left my couch. I have a thing for ceremonies, I love them!
And good luck this weekend!

I loved watching the royal wedding coverage, it was so magical! Good luck on the marathon!! 🙂
I just went to London in August, so it was cool to see the town so decked out and completely crowded with people, that was my favorite part. I only watched a little bit of coverage last night before I went to bed, haha
Good luck at Big Sur, if you really are feeling bad on race day, maybe take it really easy? Take lots of pics!
Have fun and really enjoy Big Sur! I hope you’re feeling better by then!
Good luck tomorrow!! I’m so sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well but I hope your energy starts coming back by tomorrow. And whatever happens, I hope you have a great time! Take lots of pictures and soak it all in! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!!!
I had a royal wedding sleep over with my aunt and cousin – we woke up at 3 am and had tea, scones, wine, cheese and a ton of other food. It was awesome!
Love the registry pic! My fiance and I started our registry today. We spent 4.5 hours between 2 hours! It was totally exhausting!!
You already know you’re a running rockstar…hello, Boston! It will be nice to have a stress-free run. Plus Big Sur will be such a beautiful course – I’m sure you’ll get amazing pics!
Just relax and have fun. U bringing a watch? Don’t! Use your energy to encourage others. your fun run could be their pr. Pump people up, high five, encourage, make it about the other runners as much as it is about you. maybe helping someone pr will help your competition factor. have fun:)
good luck today! Youre gonna be great!
