This morning’s run included a black cat crossing me and a bird pooping on my shirt. Lovely.
But despite these unfortunate events, it’s still Friday and I have a jam-packed weekend ahead of me. So here’s a look at some of my favorite things from the week – so take that you stupid cat and bird!
People hate on the East Bay, but come on now…running through these vineyards? What’s not to love? Plus, it was the first run of the summer where I got a bit of color.
Feeling 100 percent out of place in the weight room. But hey, no shame in the 8 lb. dumbbells.
Over the past week, my Yogurtland consumption has greatly increased. Oh, and yes, I will drive the extra 15 minutes to get Yogurtland over the other frozen yogurt knock-offs. Don’t ask me to go to the other ones.
Stop the press! I actually made it to the track and I didn’t let this super tough security system keep me out.
We sent out our wedding invites! I can’t show you them just yet…but they will make a special appearance on the blog in a week or so!
Happy Running!
Apparently getting bird-pooped on is good luck, so at least that cancels out the black cat!
That vineyard is so pretty, I wanna run there. Turns out we have a yogurtland in town but it’s sooo far away.. but I’m sooo tempted to check it out!
the picture of you at the gym is my favorite picture ever taken.
Is that Captain Crunch I see?? Have a good weekend!
haha, love the photo of you at the gym! exactly how I feel!
The vineyards in the east bay do look awesome! I like to taste at Wente a lot, the surroundings are great.
About the gym – don’t worry, I feel the same way even though I’m a guy! The weight some the guys at the gym lift is insane!
Yogurtland is indeed awesome, it is my favorite yogurt place too. My favorite topping is cinnamon toast crunch and butterfinger, haha
Who hates on the East Bay? The EB is the BESTTTTT 🙂
Black cats are definitely good luck (so says the person who lives with one)!
wow, those vineyards look gorgeous! lucky you : ) and i always feel out of place in weight rooms!
I was just working on my guest list and addresses! So much still to do! I can’t wait to see your invites!
we have a sweet cece’s which I’m thinking looks pretty similar to your yogurtland – they charge you by the ounce – I really don’t need to know that I’m about to consume 1/2 a pound of frozen yogurt plus toppings thank you very much… but still so good. although I’m kind of more of a cupcake connoisseur myself.
That picture of you in the gym is priceless! Have a great weekend! 🙂
East Bay, represent! so much to love and run by in the East Bay. SO much. Where is there a yogurt land? I know there’s one in Berkeley…but I don’t know of any in SF or Pleasanton. There are like copycats in Oakland (tutti frutti, yogafina…)
so did you good luck come your way today? with the black cat and the bird poop (both good luck omens!!)
Yay wedding and I think getting pooped on is good luck thus countering the cat
i just saw a yogurtland in the anchorage, alaska airport. was super stoked but also super cold so i didnt get any but i dang shoulda!
Cool stuff! Keep up the great work!
Your face in that picture at the gym is PRICELESS! haha :o)
