It’s Friday and today, I’m working from home. But this time, it’s actually HOME…as in, I’m in Reno, working from home. I flew home early as I have a weekend of more wedding craziness, including a bridal shower and bachelorette party for a friend, and my final dress fitting. EEEE! While you may think of the odd Circus Circus when you hear Reno, I guarantee you that if go just a couple minutes outside of downtown, you’ll see that Reno is simply stunning and a runner’s paradise.
Just a casual llama passing on my normal five mile loop in Reno.
What, you don’t pass llamas everyday?
As much as Lola is the four-legged love of my life, I sadly can’t run with her. Thus, coming home means I get to take my parents’ lab, Chloe, on morning jaunts. She’s just so happy.
I feel like I’m cheating on my lil’ Lola typing the Chloe comments above.
Ok, ok, here she is again. How friggin’ cute.
When I revealed the cause of my hip problem, some of you asked what kind of insert I will be using and where I got it. Well, here it is. It doesn’t really have a name and I got it from my chiropractor. Even though my difference is 9 mm, we’re going to start with the 7 mm insert and slowly ease into it. All I have to do is slip it in and we’re good to go!
I like to call this look Wolverine. Running ain’t sexy folks.
OH OH! I am also starting to build up my Facebook page. Help a sister out a “Like” it so I can start making it gorgeous.
Happy Running!
That shoe insert does look pretty thick, glad you found what you problem was though!
haha the llamas are too funny. I saw goats mowing a hillside one day on a run. Apparently that’s a thing in the Pacific Northwest, you get some goats to come eat the grass off of hillsides that are too steep to mow, it was so funny
i had to laugh because i stayed at the circus circus in reno years ago and thought it was odd! enjoy all the pre-wedding festivities!
So are you noticing a difference with your insert? I heart Lola 🙂 I think of her every time that commercial on TV comes on, “Whatever Lola wants…”
haha llamas, i love it! i think reno is one of those cities where people get stuck on a certain stereotype, etc. and don’t bother to realize there’s a lot more to it! have a great weekend!
Lol I can’t believe you pass llamas!! Too funny!! Lola is ADORABLE and I think your Wolverine hair is very very cool. Running is DEFINITELY sexy 😉
