If it’s Friday, you know what time it is…FRIDAY FAVS! You’ll see that this week’s list is low on running-related photos as I’ve been heads-down in planning mode. But more than anything, this week it has been settling in that soon I’ll have an “ol’ ball and chain,” but I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been working on my spaghetti arms to try and look like a little more penne-ish, and trying to regain my running mojo. So without further ado, my five favs from the week.
Along with the wedding dress fitting debacle, I went home last weekend for my friend’s bridal shower and bachelorette party. Who that guy is in the back and why he is standing there? I have no idea.
After writing about losing my running mojo, I decided the best thing to do was to kick my own trash. So I headed to the treadmill for speed workout and guess what? I felt like I was back (well, at least that day).
This one is for my colleagues at work. You guys are crazy, a little sick and I love you for it.
This week I was sent Columbia’s Peak Power Jacket. Apparently, it’s “an ultra-light laminate membrane that’s over 50-percent air makes this jacket insanely breathable and lighter than other 3-layer shells like it.” I’m excited to put this bad boy to the test and let you know how it turns out.
I’m not a fan of traveling fairs or clowns, but you can’t help to but to enjoy the Ferris wheel skyline and the overpriced games with prizes that you don’t want (or even like) but would be fun to win. Walking around the fair at the Reno Rodeo is always full of characters.
Happy Running!
Sometimes all it takes is a good, sweaty workout to get back in the running game. Happy weekend ! 🙂
have i said before i want to work where you work? mainly for margarita day. i think we would make awesome coworkers.
i’m glad you got a good run in! I agree with Megan, sometimes all it takes is one really awesome sweat to kick your butt and get back in it.
lol at the picture intruder in the first picture! haha It seems like that guy belongs in the photo or something!
Hopefully your running mojo returns soon!
And that is great about the jacket!
“characters” is a gentle and generous way to describe who you see at the Reno Rodeo fair! 🙂
That guy creeping in the back of the girls photo is making me laugh SO HARD. Haha!
You gotta hate the running lulls. I went through that not long ago but it’s such a great feeling when you finally discover that you just want to run again!
And creepers in the back of pictures- you gotta love ’em! I mean really, how does no one ever notice that they are doing it until you look back on all your pictures?! Too funny.
love the creepers. ever wonder how many people’s blogs you’re on as some accidental creeper in the background of a picture? maybe I’m the only one who thinks about that…
