Want to know what’s scary? My drastic decrease in mileage over the past month due to this dang hip. I’m going to go all Psycho if this doesn’t get fixed asap.
Want to know what’s really scary? A marathon maniac, a gangster, a flapper, a bunny, Waldo, Borat, two sailors, and Elmo making their way down the Pleasanton Halloween Beer crawl on Saturday night. Now that is a frightful sight!
Elmo likes to get down.
After spending all Saturday afternoon trying to find something to be, I found glorious Elmo hidden behind the kids’ costumes at Target. And no, please don’t tickle me. Chicken Face thought that his marathon maniac costume was hilaaaaarious (look at all this gear!), but I didn’t see what was so funny – he looked completely normal to me.
I hope everyone got to enjoy a little Halloween debauchery during the frightful weekend – what did you dress up as?
Happy Halloween and Happy Running!
Hahaha @ Chicken Face. I didn’t get what he was until you said because I also thought he looked totally normal.
Awesome costumes! I think I just enjoy seeing other peoples creative costumes – I don’t really enjoy dressing up. I actually thought Chicken face and you ran in a race or something – he does look totally normal!
Yea I thought you meant a Marathon Maniac with the yellow singlets! His outfit looks normal…maybe like he is running a relay with the vest (at least that’s what it looks like to me..)?
I ended up not dressing up for the halloween race yesterday – I’m lame! But I love your Elmo costume!
Love the Elmo costume! I’ve heard of others being runners for Halloween too, but personally, I think that’s a cop out! (Although I’m one to talk since I’m not dressing up at all!)
Chickenface may think that is a costume, but to all us runners that is our regular Saturday morning getup!
Impressive Elmo costume, haha
Oh, and I went to Reno last weekend, we were driving by sign for Sparks and I thought to myself “I think Page is from around here.” lol Reno was good times, I won huge on the tables to go up $560 – most money by far I’ve won.
I personally like the gu stashed in the wristband – nice touch.
If my leg doesn’t get it together soon, you can go psycho with me.
LOVE your tickle me elmo!! hahaha And I totally thought you guys were going to a race in that costume. Shows what I think is normal! HA!
I was a peacock this year! I LOVE Halloween!
Ha! I was reading through your post pretty quickly, saw the first pic and didn’t even notice that Chicken Face was dressed up!
LOL Chicken Face. He really put a lot of thought into that costume.
Yeah he’s laughing now, but I’m 100 percent certain he will be one of us within the next year. Bwah ha ha ha …
I LOVE ELMO! And love that you dressed up as Elmo. I totally would’ve poked you in the tummy too to see if you giggled. 🙂 sorry. haha
