Good Luck, Aron!

Sometimes I feel bad about blogging and talking solely about myself; thus, I wanted to share some blogger love with one of the best….

When I moved to California three and a half years ago, the only people I knew were my extended family. I wasn’t blogging, I had zero friends and really no idea how or where I was going to put down any “roots.”  I was anxious to meet new people, new friends and to really find my place.

While I can’t quite recall how I stumbled upon it, I found myself creeping…err…reading a blog called Runner’s Rambles. I soon found out Aron (Runner’s Rambles) lived in my area. Well isn’t that convenient?! After a few email conversations, Aron invited me to meet up for a Bay Area blogger run and anxious to meet new people, I was more than happy to join.

My very first blogger meet-up/run.

That was in 2010. Flash-forward two more years and I have Aron to thank for so many fantastic memories and being one of my best friends.

My very first blog comment!

She’s passionate about running, eager to share it with everyone, and this weekend she’s going after her first 50-mile ultramarathon! She’s trained incredibly hard for this experience of a lifetime. So if you get a second,  head over to her blog to wish her good luck or send a tweet (@runnersrambles) with the hashtag #GoARON!

Have an amazing race, Aron!
