It’s 4:45 and I’m voraciously shoving down my standard PB&J English muffins before the start of a long day, yet very exciting weekend!
First up, I moved my long workout to today with 3,000 yards swimming, 60 mile ride and a 15 minute run. Thankfully I talked to two friends out of taking the day of to tackle this bad boy with me – suckers…
Post-workout, I’m going to have to figure out how to forgo my post-long workout nap because…
I’m headed to Napa for a weekend with Oakley Women
and the other winners of their Perform Beautifully contest!

I’m sure I’ll be lighting up Twitter and Instagram with plenty of photos for the weekend, the 5k they’re holding, the hikes, the nutrition session, bike demos, and more! Hope my legs are up for it.

So here’s to a great weekend and adding one more photo of Lola to the world…just because. She’s a trooper after getting so many teeth pulled that I now call her my hillbilly puppy.
What are you up to this weekend?
Happy Running!
Enjoy your weekend away – jealous!
That is one ginormous workout to kick off the weekend. Have so much fun in Napa!

Congrats for being one of the beautiful women to win the contest! Have a GREAT time!
And, how did you talk people into training long on a Friday?!
Thank you so much! And actually, I asked them that too: how did you get Friday off?!
Poor Lola, I hope you have/had fun with the Oakley people! Saw the pictures on your twitter and you looked quite happy 😉
Lola is in good company with Chicken Face. Now if only Oakley made doggles.
sounds like a SUPER fun weekend! Poor Lola! she looks super cute though – our cat had some teeth pulled and now he just bites the dog all the time and the dog looks at him like “that didn’t hurt”…
Yay Napa! So much good food….
I had a major running success: TWICE around Lake Merritt for my first ever 6 mile run. It was really, really fun. 😀
Happy Monday!
Have an awesome weekend!!!
