Why hello.
Nice to see you again.

What’s that? You like my scarf? This old thing? It’s vintage.
Random Internet dog may do a better job at describing how I feel than any words could. Frankly, I’m tethered down in a glass cage of emotion! (Bonus points for the movie reference.) Sure, my leash is a chic lavender and I’ve been dressing up in my pink bandana scarf that I made thanks to a DIY Pinterest find, but I’m not truly myself again.
My mom says my mug is irresistible, but anyone with eyes can see that this pug ain’t no Boo. Not only is my mood still a little low and I may be a little, ehem, pudgier, than normal, but this dog is ready to run wild and slobber all over your face with excitement from running!
But on the other hand…that pug is kind of cute. In that weird, I love her for all her flaws sorta-way. And you know what, that scarf is couture! And that leash? Well, it’s better than being locked in the bathroom for hours on end. The leash must mean good news is on the horizon. A walk…a run!
You know, life isn’t that bad. I’ve got my family, my friends, a 99% healthy body and life as dog ain’t that bad.
Oh my God, I’ve just related my life to an image I found when googling “sad dog.”
Love to everyone in Connecticut. My thoughts and prayers are with you. <3

What a cute puggly wuggly!!! I love pugs, obviously! I understand the feeling, though….i was the same way last year when I had to cancel my first half marathon and then rehab my knee for two-three months. I was sad and everytime I ran, even a little bit, I was nervous that it would start to hurt again. Just take it one day at a time, girl. You’ll be better before you know it! Haha!!! Adorable dog and post– and, bonus points for using an Anchorman quote.
You’re doing great! Hang in there!!
