Sweating through 48 miles of running, 12 of which were hiking, week two of BBG, and an hour of yoga as it was international yoga day and not partaking would kill what little yoga vibe I have. This week also included a 12-mile long run and yet another reminder that my journey to get back in shape is definitely that…a journey. Also inspiring, my “internet turned real-life friend” Emily dominated her first Ironman this weekend and I couldn’t be happier for her. I highly recommend following her on Insta asap.
Eating an acai bowl from Cafe Brasil in Santa Cruz (more on that adventure later). I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately and this behemoth bowl makes it officially feel like summer. Never had an acai bowl? It’s pretty much a giant tropical smoothie in a bowl, topped with strawberries, banana, and granola. I haven’t made this specific recipe, but What’s Gaby Cooking will get you started.
Wearing this dead sea mud mask like it’s my job. I really thought acne would no long be a problem once you hit 30. Le sigh.
Writing “Cheers”, “Thanks!”, “Thank you!!”, “Thanks a million!”, “Chat soon”, “Stay tuned”, and about 972 different ways to sign off the 972 different emails that come in on an hourly basis at work. Ok, ok, it just feels like that.
Reading about “The 41 Ways to Sign Off An Email, Defined.” See above. Bye. Goodbye.
Living for this coming holiday weekend! Josh, Lola and I are off on a Yosemite adventure. Follow along on Instagram. Where are you heading off to? Yosemite favorites?
Happy Running!
OMG, I love Yosemite. A few years ago my family and I went on a campervan trip around some of the most beautiful national parks in America and Yosemite was probably amongst my top… 5? It’s just so hard to decide.
Hope you take and share lots of photos!!
By the way, I am so guilty of the: “Many thanks = Zero thanks.” at the end of an email. #sorrynotsorry. And my biggest pet peeve: people sending multiple emails rather than thinking about what they want to say, then sending one nice one.
DEFINITELY a top five!
And hahahaha, I’ll have to use “Many Thanks” more often. Or maybe not 😉
Haha how to sign emails is a daily debate for me! And Yosemite is on my travel bucket list – can’t wait to see your pictures and adventures.
Does that mask work? Because apparently acne is also a problem in your 40s!! SERIOUSLY, I’M NEARLY MENOPAUSAL AND I STILL HAVE ACNE???
Hahaha, I’m not sure it’s the secret cure, but it sure as hell makes my face feel clean without completely stipping it!
