Spring has officially sprung and I’m ready to take my apprehensive self off of the treadmill and back outside. But until it stops raining and the sun starts shining at 6 a.m., I’m forgoing my headlamp for some more quality time with the treadmill.
The good news: I have a handy, new 45-minute treadmill workout for you!
Embrace the warm-up and get ready to climb for eight minutes at a time. This four set, sweat session is focused on gradual builds in both speed and incline — at the same time.
Per usual, please note that I am not a trained professional and these are just workouts that I made up and enjoy. Please set paces and inclines that work for your personal fitness level and above all else, listen to your body. For example, I just did this workout and kept the pace consistent while I increased the incline as the bump wasn’t feeling the increased pace. There ain’t no shame in the modification game.
So grab some water, hop on, and let me know how it goes.
P.S. Here’s a handy printable version so you don’t get sweat all over your phone.
Happy Running!
