A long, long time ago, in a land far, far away, people of the internet read this thing called “blogs.” It was an exciting time, as people from all over the world over-shared and made new internet friends along the way.
During this blissful time of race recaps, Google blog reader (RIP), and making plans to meet IRL, I found Ali Feller. You may know her from Ali On The Run.
Hey that’s us! In some random casino/mall in Las Vegas before the Rock ‘N Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon in 2011. Such young pups.
Ali is hilarious, accomplished, entrepreneurial, and honestly, probably a little crazy (but in the best way possible). Crazy because she recently invited me to be on her crazy-good new podcast called the Ali on The Run Show.
What? Me?!
She’s already had the most inspiring guests on her show, like Chris Mosier, a Hall of Fame triathlete and duathlete, and was called “The Man Who Changed the Olympics” by The BBC and New York Magazine. And Candice Huffine, who’s a freaking gorgeous model, runner, and founder of Project Start. So why she wanted me to come on her podcast, I’ll never know. But I thought, “What the hell. Let’s do it!”
So today I’m excited (and also tremendously nervous) to say that my episode is now available. We talk about running (obviously), pregnancy (and my fear of birthing a tyrannosaurs rex), working in tech, and bits about my story. Take a listen:
You can also listen on iTunes I SoundCloud I Overcast I Stitcher I Google Play
Recording a podcast was more fun than I ever thought it could be, but I give all the credit to Ali for being an amazing host. So take a listen and if you enjoyed the show (or not), let me know. This was my first time doing something like this and have no idea what to expect.
And don’t forget to subscribe and leave a rating and review on iTunes. We’ll love you forever. Here goes nothing…
Happy Running!
This is so cool! I love all the talk about running and pregnancy – even though I am definitely not pregnant! Also, I love hearing bloggers’ voices…it’s never what I expected it to be.
Hopefully it didn’t scare you too much! Thanks for listening (and indulging me in my pregnancy convos)!
Absolutely loved the episode Page! And I have to agree with Caroline – loved hearing your voice!
Yay!
Hahaha, it’s always painful hearing your own voice. But thanks for listening!!
So cool! I have been reading both your blogs for a long time so I was excited to see your collaboration. Looking forward to listening on my commute.
Wooohooo! Thanks for taking us along and I hope it made your commute just a tad better 😉
I was already following her podcast and was really happy when I discovered you were her guest on this new episode. It was great to hear you! Am I odd? I mean, I’ve been following your journey through social media for a while now and it feels a tiny bit like I know you (don’t worry, I’m not a creepy dude!), and so it’s nice to hear your voice and actually hear your thoughts instead of reading them 🙂
No worries at all! That’s what I love about blogging — you get to know these people, even just a little bit. Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for this awesome post,I was looking for this from a long time….Thanks again.
I loved it! It was interesting to hear about parts of your jobs and experiences. You are very well spoken! And I agree, it was nice to hear your voice. My favourite part was that you said you are 5′ 9-1/2″, I always get made fun of for adding the half when I say 5′ 10-1/2″ but I feel like it’s important! Haha.
